Eric has worked on numerous scientific and film projects. His experiences range from expedition cameraman to safety guide on voyages to host and presenter on films and documentaries. As well as holding a degree in geology, his experiences include:

 

• field support for glaciology, survey, geomorphology and oceanographic projects.

• principal cameraman on North and South Pole expeditions

• safety guide for film and scientific projects, including polar bear deterrence, glacier and sea-ice travel and communications installation and use.

• skills training

• procurement of polar food and equipment

• equipment manufacture and modification
