North Pole Extreme Ski 2009 was completed successfully in record time.

 

 

Michael Archer

Michael lives in New Zealand where he is an avid outdoorsman. He has been preparing for this trek over the last twelve months, including a comprehensive polar training course in the Canadian Arctic. Extreme Ski is his first polar expedition.

 

 

Eric Philips

This is Eric's seventh guiding season on the Arctic Ocean. He has just recently returned from Antarctica where he was Field Leader of AGAP North, a multinational project surveying the Gamburtsev Subglacial Mountains beneath Dome Argus.
